This is a fun eight-week running program geared towards every one of all ages and fitness abilities. The ultimate goal is to help you reach your individual running goals. If you want to be come a recreational runner, run your first 5K, improve your speed and endurance, my team of running coaches and mentors can help you you reach these goals with the least chance of injury and the most chance of having a great time. It’s not about being a track star or an elite athlete. It's about being the best YOU can be. It’s not about getting up at 5:00 a.m(for the early birds) to run with a group of people for an hour. It’s a lot more! You really learn how to run better and more efficiently. You will find yourself building relationships with other runners who enjoy and have the same interests and goals. It’s always different and a lot of fun. The group’s average age is late twenties to early fifties. During this 8 week boot camp, you will gain confidence, endurance, speed, and find your legs leaner and stronger. You don’t have to be a great runner to begin. If you are a beginner you may enroll in the I want to be a runner program (contact me for additional information). To qualify for the "regular" MWF, boot camp, you must only be able to run one mile without having to stop to walk...even if your one mile is extremely s l o w. Tera Hayes coaches this 8-week running boot camp in the Latham area, includes Colonie, Watervliet, Troy and Loudonville. You will feel rewarded by running a 5K at your FASTEST speed with the group at the end of this camp. You'll also receive a great T-shirt on graduation day!
